Privacy policy

In short: Rookiepath collects no personal data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Your careers are saved only on your iPhone, and we never see them unless you choose to send them to us.

What stays on your phone

Everything you create in Rookiepath, including your player, careers, season history and settings, is stored in the app's own storage on your device. It is included in your device backups according to your iOS settings (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), and Apple's privacy policy governs those backups. Deleting the app deletes all of its data from your phone. The app does not ask for access to your photos, contacts, location, microphone or camera.

Purchases

Rookiepath Pro and the packs are sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details. The app reads your purchase status from Apple to unlock Pro and to apply a pack to your career.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and makes no network requests of its own; the only connection it uses is Apple's App Store purchase system. If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" in your iPhone settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and app usage statistics with us under Apple's privacy policy. We use them only to fix problems.

When you write to us

Emails to support come from your own mail app, and we receive only what you send. SEND FEEDBACK in the More tab starts an email that already includes the app version, iOS version, week, position and career seed, so we can replay the problem; you can change or delete any of it before sending. If we ask for your save, More → SHARE SAVE FILES lets you send the save files of your current career slot the same way: game data only. We use what you send only to answer you and fix the problem, we don't share it, and we delete save files once the problem is fixed.

This website

rookiepath.app uses no cookies and no analytics, and it loads nothing from third parties. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the pages (Cloudflare's privacy policy).

Children

Rookiepath does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

ABANDON THIS CAREER in the More tab takes that career out of play and keeps one copy of it on your iPhone, so you can restore it from the start screen; abandoning another career in the same slot replaces that copy. Deleting the app deletes everything. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing we could look up, hand over or delete on request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
